Textbooks and independent exercises

A textbook provides a sequence of topics, rules and tasks. It can suit a child who works independently or has adult support. Feedback on mistakes and answer checking may need to be arranged separately.

Video lessons

A video offers an explanation that can be paused and replayed. Watching alone does not show whether a child can apply a rule. Follow it with a few tasks and a discussion of the answers.

Working with a teacher or tutor

A live conversation allows questions and explanations tailored to the child’s difficulties. Time, format and cost need to be agreed. A platform can complement these sessions with practice between meetings.

A learning platform

A platform can bring together explanations, practice and progress tracking. Learn2Loot also provides separate understanding checks, the School Atlas map and a parent area. Check the catalogue for the particular topic you need; a learning companion does not replace a teacher in every situation.

Combining approaches

A child can read a topic in a textbook, watch an explanation, practise on a platform and take difficult questions to a teacher. Agree on a manageable pace together and adjust it based on the learning experience.
